What about the name of the place? Wouldn't that put you off?

Sailed there a few years back and it was very cool, super flatwater and dolphins swimming along side. It's an awesome spot to visit and have a beer, after a solid session we would take the esky down to the water with a few captains chairs and set it up in the water and just mellow out.

....As for the sharks, we only seen them when we went out on a sail boat the next day....there are a lot of them! They tried to tell us they are mostly "nervous sharks" and they are more scared of of us.....yeah right

....and another good one was sailing a little lagoon on the way up, forget what it's called but after stopping of a shark park and the guys informing us that's where the deadliest fish in the world lives....hindsight, it's an awesome thing.

....and the there was Denman, I think that's what it was called. Nice place to stop for a swim....yeah right, you need to dodge the sea snakes while mid breaststroke.

.....Do I need to go on, WA is out to kill you!

Best trip ever, can't wait for next time

Crash, you've spoiled yourself. The inlet will never be good enough now and you just bought a house there!

I bet there are a few guys now planning to get away over Xmas/NY break.

Glad it turned out as you hoped. And NICE board trim.

I've spent a week up in Denham sailing at Little Lagoon.
I'ts about 2 kms from Denham, and because it's a lagoon there are no sharks.
Approx 1.5kms across - crystal clear water - and of course loads of wind.
Fantastic holiday.

Know the spot Blork, didnt sail there, but did think it would be a great spot.
Couple of crew went as YoYo said, but so far its been like the KGB, no information as to locations they went up there.

Well, it is a bloody long way from nowhere at all ...

Would love to have tried sailing Shell beach as well.
It was soo flat - but you would have to walk for miles to get deep enough for a fin.

Where did you sail ?
We are planning another holiday up there end of the year.

When I spoke to the guy at the fish farm he said that he saw 3 stonefish in the channel into Little Lagoon.
I wouldnt sail in either lagoon unless I was wearing Hob Nail Boots

The creek/channell in Little Lagoon is where they catch stone fish for the ocean aquarium display Not sure whether they venture into the lagoon itself, different bottom to the creek with is littered with rocks/stones
