I know it's been said before but I just wanted to mention the great quality after sale customer service I received from Severne.
After near on destroying my '12 Overdrive I took it to the guys at the loft. Not only did they give me great advise but they also lent me another sail to use till mine is back up and going.
Thank you Severne I really appreciate the help and you have yourself a customer for life.

i agree, i tested out the gorilla 2 year warranty by pole vaulting a brand new 370 in nasty onshore conditions within about 10 minutes of getting it in the water. first mast i've ever snapped in however many years of sailing, was replaced no questions asked. that one was purely down to operator error.

its a horrible feeling when you go over the falls and just hear that pop as the mast lets go, the gorilla warranty makes you forget that feeling in seconds.

Sorry to be a little negative, however i find Severne one of the most difficult windsurf company's to deal with. I love their products, i use blades and their booms, however i waited 2 years for an eigma boom, 2 years to sort out my mast problems (badly made over weight, wrong curve) and 8 months to get a 5.3 blade.

Every thing is so WA centered, if you go to buy a sail in Jan and they are out of stock (or it wasn't brought in), you have to wait until Aug, which most likely means Nov before you get your hands on it, and there is only about 3 good wind months left in Vic. We do get resonalble amount of wind between May and Nov in Vic.

Great products (except for the masts) however the access to them is just so difficult. I don't get this problem with Maui sails or Naish. In 4 weeks i got a special sail order through with maui sails

I wish severne would sort this problem out
