When I saw this video and post I just thought it was old news. Then I followed some links from another sailing record site and discovered that this is actually a recent incident and the SECOND time Sailrocket has flipped.

I think these guys should have convinced themselves by now that they have a stability problem!

I hope they can fix it 'cause that thing obviously has the potential to go really fast if they can keep it on the water.

it's acceleration is amazing eh? looks like it will blitz everything else if they ever manage to keep it on the water

We love our speed strip but for those guys and the conditions they need, they are probably better off where they are. Even the MI guys considered it as a possibly more reliable venue for their requirements. Remember these guys are looking for consistent 20-25 knots of wind rather than the 35-40 knot gales we prefer.
