Anyone using the Rip Curl GPS watch for recording their speeds/times/sessions while sailing ?

Rubbish !!!

According to the Rip Curl questions it uses a combination if accelerometers and GPS LOCATION to measure speed.

It probably is not accurate enough for what we need as it is optimised for surfing.

There would be a lot more questions to ask to find out if it is suitable.
