Not all but most crashes seem to be caused by fin cavitation, hence if you have spent thousand s on your gear don't be a cheap skate with your fin!!!!!!

Or land a jump with your leeward rail across the direction on travel

Ouch. You can also see the sails not coping, and then the boards get out of shape then hasta la vista baby
