Realspeed and Navilink Utility on Windows 7

Just a bit of a heads up for those planing to run Windows 7. Both these programs run fine under Windows 7 Ultimate edition but there are a couple of things you need to do.

Navilink:
1:Use the Vista USB drivers - either 64 bit or 32 bit depending on what you chose Windows to run as.
2:You need to chose 'Run as Administrator' when using the program or it has errors reading from the port.

Realspeed: It runs fine as is - but 'Run as Administrator' and running normally will generate 2 different machine codes for the registration of the program. Once you choose one, you have to continue to use the progran running with that method or it will unregister the program. I run it normally and its working well.

Only real downside of it all is that it doesnt seem to improve my speeds

I know it is a long way for you westies, but a trip to the PiT with the right conditions will add about 5 knots to your speeds Pat!

I keep telling him that Pete but its hard enough getting enough crazies for the 3.5 to 4 hour trip each way..
