The Dutchies have not only raised it they have packed it up and taken it home with them!

"Jacques has a NR (NMile) of 78.9 km / h (42.6 knots!) hazards. Bizarre! The 80 comes into view, what a performance under these conditions. Here's what the positive result of competition. The bar is always set higher!

Jaques also has an average of around 83.65 are! I believe they are now driving home. In any case reported this Robert who she is meegereden (Jacques and HansKr).

Tribute to such benefits under such harsh conditions tramantana!"

Looks like it blew up to 40 knots.

it is amazing, wonder whether the efforts into the NM were motivated by the GPSTC, or how much motivation the GPSTC has meant for them?

Not knocking their skills......but they are sailing at great spot! and getting some good wind, if we had a place like La Franqui our numbers would be very healthy.
Not much use having a "top" team if you haven't got a spot that's long enough for Nm's and flat and windy.

hats of to the dutch guys for some awesome speeds.
its easy to assume they are a team of supermen!!
however i suspect the playing field may not be exactly level (so to speak)
it seems every post is better than the previous with not many posts (?) less than 40knots it seems...i would like to see them match slowy through the melville slop but

yes i agree to that still would be good to have at least someone giving them a run for there money.

any way well done to em would love to have a sail there and what i find very good about this spot, they are consistently doing over 40 knots nearly every day!.

Awesome spot.

Begs the question why there's no French team in the GTC?

OK then lets get this right for a start slating Europe and trying to curse us with a cold windless winter your the one being a prick.

At the end of the day i don't like what these boys are doing! But they are showing commitment dedication and passion for something that goes to a new level.

So on that note stick it where the sun don't shine PRICK!!!!

Pedro's pissed cause we've had one of the most bizarre winters this season with only 1 front thus far (and he was in the UK for that) we've had more easterlies (useless wind) than we get in summer, normally we've had 4 or 5 decent fronts by now.

Oh well soon be summer

At the risk of stating the obvious, Swagger, you may be the ONLY person who has read 25's irreverent comment and taken it seriously.

...unless your English humour is too subtle, and you are also simply taking the p*ss!?

Chris I think 25 ommited a "" or "[}:)]" following his comment, such a statement on a public forum without such, has to be taken seriously, unless that is, you know 25 personally and his humour employed here.

Initially the comment was directed at the Dutch Crews, in particular Hans and Jacques for destroying any chance of Oz winning the GTC international comp, and ultimately SRM domination.

@ Swags: WKCs "Respect" I would think is directed at the skill and sharp end performance of HK and JvdH

Indeed Respect

At the end of the day we are all in the same boat .... waiting for wind ... it is frustrating ... but that's part of what speedsailing is all about .... Patience .. what goes around comes around ... our chance to answer back will come ... eventually

Swags ... the end of August is looking sweet for WK, you 'll have to do a road trip with your team and get 40 on the dial, then you can relax a little.

At the end of the day if I were to judge someone from one comment said in jest or not that would make me a bit of an idiot.
And yes my humour can be very dark, very dry, very subtle with a tad of sarcasm just to mix it up a bit.
Personally I more worried about the cold when I have to work on a roof in it not on the water.
