The only day of competition was 11 March, so all speeds are from that day.

I think there were another couple of no-gps competitiors, just there to experience the day. Sorry if I've left you off, you'll go into the final results.

cheers guys and thanks for all who made the trip, some driving for 3 days, some waiting roadside for 5 hours and others going the long way round just to make it through.

i got back from burrum about 1/2 hour ago, will get some words worked up and online asap to wrap up the event and thank everyone.

this year was one of the memorable burrum events for me and that is the result of all of the people at the event.

Feedback I've heard is it was another top event, well done Justin Shame the wind didn't kick in hard but half the fun is catching up with such a great mob of people This was the 2nd year in a row I've skipped out at the last minute, I couldn't justify the drive in the time I had available and the wind

And isn't it a blast having it up your tail pipe on a run, really adds to the atmosphere

no worries firie, there is always next year and the word on the street is next year will go for a week.

i got a very poor photo of the helicopter. i only had my mobile phone on me at the time as myself and craig had to burn out to the northern run in the tender to organise the photo shoot and i left my camera on the barge.

how flat is the northern run in that photo, wind wasn't quite as strong in the northern run as elsewhere but still, very flat spot. it's like that for 2km or so. as you can see from the aerials it's a dirty big channel. almost silted up at both ends.
