Obviously the mistral production speed boards a performing and producing awesome speeds over there, which is a reflection on the fantastic design and sailor.
But geez it would be interesting to see what the other production speed boards would do if they were being sailed over there by a quality sailor.. probably set awesome speeds also!

My bad, I wanted to past the NP Evo's link instead of pasting the mistral one twice:

http://racing.neilpryde.com/rs-racing-evov/sail.html

That would have avoided the confusion...

I think Jurgen is riding stock Starboard speed boards and he's doing 50 +runs. Patrik Diethelm is riding his ownb production too and has a 50+kn 500m (I think). Martin Van Meurs is riding his MrX boards but he hasn't had a great start to the event. AA has a Christophe Fiorentini custom speed boards but yet again I think he also designs the Starboard Speed specials.

EDIT - just found this article by Eric loots re: Luderitz equipment www.speedsurfingblog.com/

.....[I do a lot of thinking ]

PS - apologies Julien.

Jurjen's board that you see on the picture is a custom 40cm. It has a more pintail design that works verry wel on extreme broad courses. It only looks like a production board.
