sailquick there's nothing Wrong with heel dents , i put them into all my boards, i'm sure they make the board more stable and controllable, i only wish my CA 44 them, that board feel like riding a log downwind in chop

or maybe its the driver
i'm also surprised OES is using timber stringers , here's an old blank from the late 90's with a carbon stringer,
i would call the OES a speed slalom have a look at the two boards and i'm sure you will notice a similar resemblance, but the difference with the blank is it has a concave deck, a carbon stringer, heel dents, and a much norrower and less volume in the tail and its epoxy, even with all that bog it has to be lighter
