So that's what nebbian looks like I figured he'd have coke-bottle glasses and pocket protector
Errr... only BEFORE I step into the phone booth
Thanks for the pictures Grumps, my camera managed to get sunscreen smeared across the lens so all my pictures have a 'soft focus' bit just left of centre. Your pics are awesome!
I'm glad everyone had a nice time, it's great when Huey comes to the party as well
looked like a great day. hopefully the next one will have a bigger turnout
There were actually more than the pics show, over half the people were out on the water. Somebody may have some photos of the race start, they would shows quite a few more crew.

To mention a few. 11 Mandurah mob 8 Swan river mob 8 Pinnas (+ one sailed at home) 6 Perth Southsiders plus a whole bunch of others who showed up to play. Would have been close to 50 sailed on the day.

Not to be pedantic, but there were actually 7 Perth Southsiders there (the only one missing was OS)
Nice work boys. Played strong, done good. So now we get to see what Mandurah looks like. How flat is that water!!! And bloody shallow from looking at the carnage. At least you blokes can have a breather when you want
KA43: much of the water you can see is only a few cms deep. Had to go fair way out to get clear of the bottom (tide was way down in the afternoon. ) As they say: come on in the water is lovely. The only way to really find out is to come and have a go!

I completely missed the prize draw and the race start - too busy having fun. As I said afterwards, its something you do not talk about ;-)
But seriously I thought the fact everyone was out on the water showed whats so great about the challenge. Encourages TOW !

So maybe its time all the jokes about "everyone" on the planet being a Pinna are put to rest - there are more MM than Pinnas !!!
