Hey Kato,

This was just a training session for Sam and myself to go for 300km's. The day was actually a speed challenge and i couldn't get into the groove for speed so cruised around for a while. The wind didn't pickup until just after lunch 15 - 18 knots and was very choppy. It felt like you were going fast but didn't produce the goods.

We sailed for approx 5 hours - Sam was constantly sailing apart from a sail size change and a quick beer and i had a beer, changed fins and had to re-tighten footstrap that screw had broken in board. Overall pretty happy with the distance and i think to top 300 will be hard work but we love a challenge.

Good luck tomorrow - have fun!!!!

Cheers,

Carl

great effort guys looks like its going to be an interesting end to the month and the problem for us(WA) will be the lack of wind a strange phenomenom for this time of the year
could be crowded at the top of the distance table in the 300 to 400 km range in the next month !
(should add that i have def no intention of being one of those either)
