Sorry, I know I saw this question years ago but can't remember the fix.
When looking at a track on KA72, all stats are there but the map is not showing.
Did I do something wrong; I did try re-downloading track from Motion but no joy.

It has happened with me a couple times over the last few years. GW 60.Then it worked next time .Just needed a nap.

If it happens use the report track link under the overlay and I'll take a look. Usually I can fix it.

This was a high resolution logger issue. When the kml file for the overlay is generated, it is smoothed out (I don't generate a kml file with EVERY data point in it, as that would overload the plugin.) This file, with over 250,000 data points in it, was still creating a massive kml file, so I've modified the code to be more aggressive with larger files like this one. The overlay should look the same, but it won't get stuck loading in the browser because the file is too big.

This is 8 hours of data at lower resolution, now working fine (about 360kb kml file)


And this is the original higher resolution overlay loaded in google earth for comparison (about 3mb kml file)

Just took a look at this track of mine on KA72, and still nothing showing on the map. Am looking on my iPhone; other tracks showing up ok.

Am I doing something wrong Dylan?

UPDATE: Dylan has got on to me and explained the fix. All sorted. Our community is very fortunate to have Dylan do what he does for us. big thanks!!!
