Does anyone know how to increase the file size in the memory card menu on the GT31? The largest file size on my GT31 is 2,048KB. I'm using a 2GB SD card and it will still only allow the largest file to be recorded at 2,048KB. It then starts recording another SBN file.
Twice now I have sailed in one session over 7 hours and it wont record the whole session in one file. As soon as the file size gets to 2,048KB it stops that file and starts a new file. Will later software allow bigger files to be recorder?

Hi Mark,

I think its the setting FILE SIZE under MEMORY CARD. I set my GT-11 to CARD SIZE. Perhaps your GT-31 is set to 2048.

I think that will solve my problem. I thought Card Size was the top menu of the file size settings. I understand now where I stuffed up.

I use Apacer 2Gb 66x card
Set up your GT not on any value then on CARD SIZE
In that mode GT use card depends on size card you put into it
So, if you use 2Gb card and set up your GT on "card size" you can use all
of card capacity
