Took out Muppetcam (GoPro Hero with fisheye lens) down Hardies Run 14/01/2009.

The wind didn't have us all fully powered up on the day but it did provide us with some fun.

Here's my first edit attempt of me chasing Sammy down the run outside the posts.

hey elmo where did you get the cam and how much did it cost? I am considering getting one, they look like they do a good job.

btw can you put a larger SD card in them for longer record times? I think its 1 hour with a 2gb SD card.. and they are only like $15 now.. so I was thinking of getting a 4 or 8GB sd card, just not sure if it would be compatible...

the fish eye view is interesting pity you cant pick up how shallow it is

Eliminate and delete that 2nd video where I do an Elmo gybe I did just for Elmo to show him what he looks like when he's gybing

Don't know why you tube pixelated the hell out of it though

Just reloaded it to see whether the quality improved..It didn't

meant to also praise your efforts Elmo, very impressive mate. I also especially love the Madonna remix in the first clip, just downloading that from Limewire now. Goes with that vid perfectly. You and Greenroom have your backing music dialled, good to hear and see.

different slant on sail flip with the double hand switch, but obviously works well

Thanks for posting.
Next time on your speed run, as a trial, fit the NAVi onto the mast above the boom as I think your camera should pick up the numbers if you have it in speed mode

Ah Pinnas are still welcome mineral, you guys don't kill the wind like a certain other team seems to whenever they show up

In the background i can spot a few SRM and a complete absence of whitecaps on the water

I was wondering that, the res seemed pretty low on the footage, does it come out reasonably clear when you get it straight off the camera?

And by the way, very very envious of your sailing spot, it looks pretty much ideal for flat water blasting.

Looks flat. Hey I think the gybe vid music matches the gloves perfectly...

Personally, I'm quite fond of my calluses.

I started wearing the gayboy gloves after I found that my callouses were stopping me from closing my hands without pain (even with clipping them back).

Since I've started wearing them masturbation no longer feels like sex with sandpaper

Nice vid, Elmo.
Something that has helped me (I sail front hand under too) is to change front hand pre gybe. Hand over and back by front harness line makes me get rig further forward and engage the rail more. Give it a try.
