Just to see my lake "Soderica" near my city in North of Croatia...
Here I spend lots of time in windy (and no windy) conditions...
It is not long but is very close to my home and makes me happy...

First video is from 06.05.2010.

07.05.2010. I was on the water again, not enough wind, and then start the rain and
storm I cought 15 minutes for remember, check this one too:

I HOPE YOU LIKE IT

Well put together.

Interesting board. Very deep cutaways.
Also, I've never seen the foot straps lifted like that. Does it get in the way when moving on the board?

i think your talking about the foot pads on the vid at 0.35 ,i did a post on the bombora dromedary last year, rather than useing the surfboard back pad's i rescessed the footstraps into the board so my foot was closer to the water,

"Foot pads" - thanks. Didn't know what to call them.

So it didn't work for you.
"bombora dromedary" - I'll search for it.

obelix rrd have allso scooped out the deck and they talk about the scooped deck makeing the board early to plane, well ill back that up, my board has a beeper deck than the rrd ,there arent to many 80lt boards on the water that will plane as early as mine, and yes the foot cutouts work like a dream

My apologies for the confusion, as I'm trying to clear this in my head.

In the video they are talking about the volume being manly in the rear part of the board.
So they scooped the board to achieve that, and also added very thick foot pads (at least they did on the previous models).

rrd have allso scooped out the deck and they talk about the scooped deck makeing the board early to plane, well ill back that up, my board has a beeper deck than the rrd

So you have pushed this theory further than the RRD factory and it worked well for you.
However, you have built in foot cutouts to keep you feel lower, where RRD have added the foot pads.
Otherwise your cutaways (underneath) are different from theirs.

i dont have cutaways just wingers butt my board has the same princeable , the idea is a different way to load the fin rather than lifting your heel you push, and it's comfortable and i'm sure it helps your foot from cramping, the only difference is with my board you have more control of the board when the wind picks up,obelix i don't want to hijack wkcwarriour's post ive just finnised reshapeing the tail, when ive taken it for a test run maybe ill do a post

interesting,

i think there is a bit of marketting hype there. what they mean is "Volume Distribution". personally i think it's give and take with width v thickness v outline there are other ways to achieve the same goal.

this finian maynard's borad have lifted foot pads becouse they give natural position of lifted foot fingers. That is ideal for long distance. Little tricky in the beginning but now it is ok, that don't stand on the way moving on board. Hehe, I know you will attach on this vid part. So, how about our lake, video ???

btw, board is RRD X FIRE LTD, also have same board but in 90 liters

This was the topic of our discussion:

I've never seen this before except on kite-boards, and was curious.
Also, just a few days ago we discused the cutaways on the forum, and your board looks very sharp. Very aggressive.

screws are standard, maybe little longer, becouse straps are on normal height

that photo, i think this is my board, hahahaha

sometimes is gusty but on N wind, on SW is great

btw, yesterday i have PB of that home spot 26,533 knots (and lake is only 500 m across) I am very happy

Check out the yesterdays action, I was trying to make my best video so far:

You certainly put them together faster than him
You seem to have more fun towards the end of the video as the wind picked up.
Nice little gadget , that wind speedometer.

that photo, i think this is my board, hahahaha

Yes, its' your 90. I copied it using the hyperlink you provided above.

Where do you buy new boards in Croatia?
Is it cheaper to go to Italy and buy direct from the RDD ?

Warrior dont sheetout when your going into your jibes keep the sail sheeted in until you come round and it will flip by itself,a few goes and you'll get the feel, this will prevent the board stalling in the turns.

yes thanx, i am just in phase learning jibe, i know i have problem with oversheeted sail and i loose speed in the end in time before rigflip. i just can't do it, don't know how to hold my rig in carve moment, and i just can't pick right moment for rigflip. Jibe for the first time is not so easy as looks on mates who know jibe well.
thanx for the tip. I will try to add more extra speed before carve, and try to little back on boom back hand, try to hold sail sheeted, we will se what will happens.
Also got one more problem, so far this jibe you see i do only on the left, i've got problem to carve on the right side, i ust can't start jibe to right, what is the problem here? in my had or?
