My Mini motion is not happy, I think it's on mega safe mode!!! and can't get it out of safe mode.

I'm pretty sure someone had the same issues and got it back out of safe mode and into normal running

Issues: Solid red for 23sec than goes blank for 6sec and back to solid red same process until battery goes flat.

I have try every possible option and had team members have a go!! with no luck too hours spent.

IF you have a solution fix feel free?

I'm not going email the supplier it would be a waste of time!!!

Knowing your team members i suspect its another of their pranks !

But really, if that happens after the battery is totally flat it seems that it is stuffed. Minis are pretty strong but don't last forever

Hi Tim, while the red light is briefly on, can you see if if it shows as a device on your pc wifi? As Georgio said it it might be the battery is failing, but the red light shows it still has some life. If you can see it listed on your pc wifi, try and connect to it, if you get that far, then try to update the firmware. I think that's what we did with another one like that earlier this year.

I will give it a try!! But now i have another issues it won't charge now? No light's coming up might leave for a few days
and give it another go, I have done this before.
Hopefully it comes back alive!!

There's no official confirmation from Lisa Windsurfing, but based on a small snippet from a recent Facebook post, there might be something in development and available in the future. Any additional insights from others who have more information would be of interest to us all.

Maybe , As it has started working again out of no where!! I used it today with no issues
Sounds like the Lisa GPS will be available to the pubic in 2026, Hopefully the GPS team Challenge will approve the Device?? It could take
another year after that for approval!!

Do you have a link to any information about the device?

See Lisa windsurfing's post about it on pg 54 of the DIY logger thread from April, since then there's been a number of pics around social media of them being tested by sailors in Europe.

I received this yesterday from Lisa Windsurfing. I hope it all works out well and we have another device to add to the existing list.

It is my understanding that the Lisa GPS device is closely based on the ESP DIY device. If this is correct, then it should be a very straightforward matter that should not take long at all. But we would need to have specifications, comparison data, and preferably a device at hand to test. If the specifications are standard DIY ESP, it would be very quick and simple.

If it is based on the DIY ESP device, then it could become the new gold standard for commercially available devices.

Edit: A quick search reveals picture of two devices under the LISA name. One is obviously a DIY ESP device:



The other one, in the Conners post above has a different display. It may just be a smaller and simplified display with the same electronics, but it may also be a redevelopment?
