Keef the Sand Bar has changed. Mark J. & Dion used Marks Boat to get to the bar & rig up. Adam took the Photos.

The boys come from the north, so it saves the trip to Manning Pt via Old Bar.

You can access the sand spit by 4WD from Manning Pt.

In a N/E the wind funnels down the river for good flat water blasting about 3-400m S/W of the photos. Sailed the N/E there a couple of years ago - & I would love to try the speed spot up on the spit.

Mark J. knows all the latest info on the spot. Bar has changed, I have not seen it yet. Looks like we have finally have a good speed strip on the Mid-North Coast.

The entrance has moved to the south by about 1km and the northern entrance is closed so no tide , you could access from manning point but the ocean swell will kill it for small boards , just hope the flood waters that have hit today dont change it back to how it was , looking forward to the next season
