Said to be...but not so. Going deep needs a lot of camber on the leading edge otherwise you get stall at large angles of attack. The camber line of a sail is the mid point between the windward and leeward surfaces. Therefore with large pockets there is less camber.
This is why narrower pocket KA Koncepts are so good at Sandy Point. Reaching back and forth or going upwind is another matter. There the slippier the better.
