Any opinions on the Loft 7.3 switchblade for GPS sailing. Some good prices avalable on the 2010 gear. I need to replace my old NP. I guess the Blade might be the pick of them but a 7.3 Switchblade and a Loft sdm 460 mast would suit my current gear better.
My original plan was a 7.3 F9 Ram and a North Gold mast but the price is considerably higher.
I will be using it with a 101 isonic the most. Am I going to notice the difference going from the Rams to more of a freerace type sail or is that just in my head?

Cheers

Ian I'd say go for a Switchblade, I have the 7.8 which is a great sail. I'm over two finger typing so PM me your mobile and I'll give you a yell and my thoughts.

Cheers Bob.

New board Grumpy? - good choice too although don't think you'll get a chance to use it this weekend looking at forecast.

Hi Ian I think you will love the Switchblade very easy fun sail to use and with very good performance still. I prefer the skinnys in them though give the sail a very nice soft easy feel to them and rot is a breeze.
You love the 101 too very nice alrounder that one

Hey Snags,
I thought that might get a bite. Yeh I might be moving over to the dark side, if I get an isonic am I worthy of sailing lammermor? I heard there is an old bloke that lives there and he'll chase you away with a big stick if you turn up with a JP??
I'm going over to Perth in October and i hope to pick up a 2nd hand or runout 101 when I'm there.

Vando, Thanks for the insight. I spoke to firie this arvo and I think he's got me convinced.

Cheers
Grumpy
