It's early days but it looks like wind on Saturday for the biggest day in Australian windsurfing!

We have five more days to hone our ocean racing skills.

Where do you find the fabled long range for this, it's idiot proof (I can't find it)

Graphs - Western Australia - North West.

Granted, Lancelin isn't all that North West, but it's North of Perth!

There are green arrows on the Perth forecast for Saturday as well as the Lano forecast so fingers crossed we'll all be clinging on to a 6 - something, or maybe a 5 - something!

Get the entry via the events list on the rhs of the windsurfing home page. The weather for saturday is already locked in, unless Huey can bend the laws of physics?

You can enter on the day - no problem, but the earlier you enter, the better your start line position.

How do the shuttle buses work? Do you rig up and drive to the finish, and catch a shuttle back? Or is there a shuttle back once the event is done?

Still looking at other long range forecasting tools and it's not looking like 5-6m weather 14knots ain't that strong unless you weigh in at 40kg

It's best to park at Ledge with all you're gear, as it can be quite a wait. You can then get a lift back after the race.

Not sure about the shuttle bus but there are plenty of helpful people around that'll look after us.

CU there

Nebs, just drive to the start which is Ledge Point, and do the race. Somebody will give you a lift back. My wife will be bringing my car back to Lano, but I will probably have to go back to Ledge to pick up extra rigs I may have thrown together in case of changing conditions just before the start.

Elmo, my sources are predicting 18-20 knots for Saturday. It definitely looks like SSW, and the Perth forecast of fine and 29 degrees is making all the right noises.
