your gybes are too timid :)
your sheeting out on the entry and your way too close to the boom
Ir works but its slowing you down
to gybe really fast need to get lower bend those knees a bit more sheet IN on you y back hand to de-power not sheet out
and front hand needs to punch out to fully extended pushing the mast out to arms length. this will force your body wright to move forward and keep board flat which in turn keeps its speed up
Sheeting out and pulling sail close to yuo will make you lean back and push the tail of the board down like a break.
It feels super weird at first and constantly feels like your about to get catapulted but what you will find is the increased board speed into the turn will reduce the apparent wind and the saiil will be almost weightless.
