I just came over to Beachport on the promise of 4 windy days forecast. Naturally, as soon as I got here the forecasts crapped out.

But I still has two nice days on really smooth water with winds in the high teens to maybe just over 20 in the gusts.
Miles of flat to glassy water now, but also getting shallow in a few places where we have been sailing happily before. For instance, I found Rodneys Rocks again

and realised I had been sailing over them all summer. It's closer down to Cockies than I had realised. I think I have pinpointed them on my tracks now so it would be possible to throw a marker buoy out there in future.

Different wind angles are interesting as they open up runs in different areas. In a straight South wind, I got a couple of nice NM runs from near the gate to Kev's farm over to Cockies Point, first one above the islands, and second one between them.
