Hi Guys, when I'm logged into K72 and upload a file, it doesn't show on the main page and also when I click the KML link to open the tracks in GE it says ANON, not my name. I've tried selecting various options like public and registered in the top drop down list. However, the other drop-down list (the bottom one) is grayed out. Any ideas?

Click on the bust profile on the top right of the screen and select the bottom option from the drop down box. Click User Profile and then Edit Profile tabs. Go into each of the Tabs and add your details and then save. In the Manage Accounts Tab there is an option to include a display name. This should sort you out.

Heres another question..

Having done 2 sessions during the day can you post them both to GPSTC individually from KA72? I tried but the second entry made the first disappear. So I'm down a few Ks distance and other results.

What you describe is what happens when you upload a file while logged in that you previously uploaded anonymously.

If you rename the file and upload it again, the renamed file should be recognised as a new file and uploaded to your account.

Is GPSResults MAC compatible? Ive never looked at it, but guess that I now have a need

There is a MAC version of GPSResults. I've never tried it out.

Once the files are combined the combined file can be uploaded to ka72.

If you have a GT-31 and have the internal logger switched on you can combine files on the GPS itself by just dumping the memory to the SD card. That will create a combined file based on the last 16000 or so points (4-5 hours of 1s points.)

Thanks Dylan. I have a Canmore as does all of my team.
Canmore (gps units) needs a pause button for when you stop for lunch or change gear.
