SpeedWeek has been traditionally held around the time of the Melbourne Cup long weekend. You may have read/heard that it was canceled for this year... Fear not, its on!

This year it is called the "KA SpeedCHALLENGE", running from the 5th to the 11th (see: speedweek.org ). This is a gathering of sailors simply interested in going fast - so speed gear isn't a must (my first time was using a Bombora X-it).

KA have sponsored a house to provide some cheap bedding and a hot shower. There are a number spots available for around $100 for the week. If you are interested in coming along for the week, or even overnight, shoot me a message.
