Hi all, been reading this forum for a while great to see so much good info and speed knowledge be shared.

I've been trying to find info and reviews on the jp speed 54 but can't turn much up. I've seen the threads on here but wondering if any of the people here that have been using it for a while could give a sort of long term report. Would be looking at it as a sort of one speed board solution for 7m ish down to 5.8 in mirror flat to small chop. Need a bit of reserve float due to gusty spots and have a small board for when it really blows!

Any info would be great, oh am about 82kg.
Cheers!

Sounds like the ideal size for what your after. I have the JP Speed 45cm/54cm and slalom 56cm. The 54 is brilliant in lightish speed condition's to to high wind. I was very surprised with the amount of control i had on it with the following sails...7.0,6.2,5.8. The best fin sizes i have found are C3 23cm Slingshot for high winds and seems to hold in very well with a 7.0 down. But also in the lighter winds/or chop the C3 28,30 and 32cm StingII's work well as well. Ideally the 30/32cm StingII was the best all round fins but the slingshot 23cm is brilliant on flat water. Overall it is a great all round speed board and has brilliant control through chop. It really likes to sit on the tail too.
