Just spent 2 hours trying to rig my new switch blade, but could not get the cams to pop on!! Tried all the tricks from a previous link including removing the metal spacer, max outhaul, downhaul completely released, no battern tenson. Even then the cams are still tightly pressed against the outside of the luff.
Starting to think my mast might be to stiff if thats possible.
I am using a Hypersonic 55% 460 SDM.

Try taking it out of the bag.

PS - have you fitted the SDM cams in the bottom 3 battens?
Very unusual not to be able to pop cams on with max outhaul and no down haul. Can you try someone else's mast. Cam should have a spare one or four.

Have you tried rigging with absolute max downhaul and then attach boom and apply max outhaul, then release downhaul? Also I assume you've got the mast on top of cams/battens!

I've got a perfectly good 7.5 Koncept I'll swap.

SB comes with 2 set of cams
I think that RDM cams are on default
Please, check, if yes, first you need to put SDM cams on your sail
For mast I don't know that brand, but seems to be easier then my Blades.
Max downhaul, then attach boom, then outhaul it, then release downhaul full, then
press on pocket cca 20-30cm of cams (on the batten) and click the cams
after all cams clicked, then downhaul it to the core ;)

yes sausage it is possible that he put mast bellow cambers, mast must be insterted upper of cambers, Loft's pocket is tricky ;)
no chance to rig if mast is insterted bellow cams :)
maybe the Blade riggin' helps....

all the same only less cams on SB
think that 11 have 3cams and older versions have 2 of them

Have SDM cams fitted and all cams below the mast when rigging, i have heard through the grape vine that some people have cut the cambers down to help with rigging? Anyone tried this with success? Will try all other avenues before being this drastic but still struggling to see how they will pop on any other way. Should get a chance to try another mast tomorrow.

Kel you could try sliding the mast in with the cams on.
Ive rigged a few SBs and yer they can be hard when new but I normally get them on. also dont flattern the sail too much you need some material so you can push down on the cam. cutting the cam shouldnt be a prob if you have too they are solid and worse case you can just put a spacer back in.

My point is there should be some after sales assistance from the shop & I would approach them first as they are the experts.
To me that would seem the logical thing to do rather than having to rely on forums & grapevines that suggest you start chopping bits to make it work.

I've had great after sales service from Loft and can highly recommend them. I don't know why Kel didn't check with them first as he is away, it's too easy just to ask our mates here I guess

You can feed the mast through the cams as you insert it.
I have the same problem with my 7.8, particularly the cam directly under the boom but not a problem with my 9.3
