Hi all my fellow gps speed sailors, the time has come and I am hanging up the harness.

I wish you all the very best in your efforts to achieve that next pb and hope you have a great season of seabreezes ahead (and not too far ahead from those of us in WA).

If any newbies out there are looking for some gear to get them going in the sport, and don't mind some older gear that has not seen too many sessions,I have just listed all of mine for sale on seabreeze. May take a while until listed due to admin review.

Cheers

Definitely not, no time for GPS sailing means no time to turn the dark side either.

Terry!! No wonder I haven't seen you for ages....but never say never...I'm sure you will find time in the future to rejoin the sailors! Good luck.

Hey Steve,
Nice to hear from you. I hope you are still finding the time to get in a sail or a surf.
Maybe I will do a 'John Farnham' and come out of retirement. Probably when I finish up at work. Only 4 years but who's counting.

As they would say in football terms, you are a long time retired. I hope to keep sailing well into my 60,s. There are lots of inspiring older sailors who just get a a slightly bigger board and a smaller sail. I got myself an impact vest with some flotation and it means my fitness doesn't need. To stay as high. If I need I breather in the water I can. Hold on for as long as you can brother !!!!!!!!

This is not the right time of year to hang up the harness - April would be a much better time.
We will miss seeing your smiling face.
Best wishes in whatever you decide to do.
