Hi all,
I've been tracking my sessions using a Garmin fenix 3 for several years now. The files from this upload fine to KA72 (as did those from my even older fenix 1). The battery in the fenix 3 gradually degraded (8 years old) and I "upgraded" to the Garmin Enduro, which I believe is almost identical to the Fenix 7 (for those who are not familiar with the Enduro).

However the files from the Garmin Enduro do not upload to KA72. They appear to be in the same FIT format. And the GPS in the Enduro is more advanced than that in the fenix 3 as I understand it. I am using the "Windsurfing" activity setting. Could this be the problem? I have not tried any other settings. Has anyone had a similar experience and hopefully suggest a remedy?

Get the GPSTC V4 app from Garmin connect. Written for windsurfing by a windsurfer. An Aust windsurfer too

You can download in GPX format from Garmin connect and that works in KA72. Garmin wouldn't download the GPX file yesterday and I ended up downloading the fit file and converting it to GPX format on Gotoes which is a free website. Worked fine.

Just bear in mind that the GPX file from Garmin Connect won't contain the doppler speed data. The GPX is prone to reporting higher speeds than were calculated by the watch itself and also more prone to spikes.

Does the FIT file load into GPS Speedreader? That's probably the best option.
