Despite the extra care along the use of the watch somehow the strap failed.
If i right remember there's no chance for any replacement with original item.
Any suggestion?

If you look a5t 5the rules on the GPSTC site, they name a number of Garmin watches that are now approved.

I've got a couple of GW60's that no longer work, but the watch straps are fine, if you want one to try and swap over (just pm me).

good thought, but it's not that simple. the antenna is in the strap, It's a long time ago, I forget exactly how the antenna connects to the watch, but I suspect a bit of soldering is required.

In the end (as fastest and efficient solution but really horrible to see) I've firstly glued the failed parts then pieced the upper strap and used one of the hole of the lower strap to insert a thin plastic tie and hold the 2 pieces together. Covered everything with a black tape,
Not sexy but cheap and working

I glued mine (West System epoxy). Still holding. But waiting for the plop. First band was repaired in Jan 2024, the other a year later. They both broke when my band accidentally caught on the boom during tacks.
