Just a bit of useful info, my watch charger had a stuck down pin and was told to pull it apart and lube it. But what I found was the holes had a slight burr on them which was catching. Grabbed a 1.5mm drill bit and put it through twisting by hand-perfect repair ??

Sticky pins seem to be a fairly common problem, well spotted!
So how was putting it all back together again?
Whenever I pull anything like that apart I'm worried about springs flying away all over the place.

Just this week my GT31 USB charging port developed a problem, one of the pins bent over inside the female part, Impossible to straighten out. I have removed the socket and ordered a new one, but I am not looking forward to soldering the tiny pins to the board. My beloved GT31 is scattered around my desk in many pieces,

I tried the same thing with a GW52, didn't work but that has a micro usb not a mini, you may have more luck. Just make sure you unplug the battery first, and check you have no shorts before you plug it back in.

No springs, they're concealed so it's really easy. The only drama is the screws are a little bit hard to get to due to the placement. If I can do it anyone can-10 minute fix
