MY GT31 only reads max speed for my last run. It doesn't display the max speed for the session. Has anyone else experienced this? If so, any tips on how to get max session speed to be displayed?

Are you talking about speed genie? Have you gone into Misc and set it to show other than Max / Max Ns ? There is 4 other options I think that you can choose to display (scrolling screens) after a run.

If you have "clear"ed the values before the start of your session, you can then see the max values for session and even "restore" the best value.

When I click on MISC, the only items there are

Calendar
Screen flip
Reserved.

There is no Speed Genie setting displayed. Mystery.

or check Trip meter - it tells you your max speed, distance sailed, time sailed, average speed etc.

Thanks Jezstrt. I bought the GT31 new, a week ago, and I assumed it would have the latest firmware on it. I will get onto it.

Off the shelf they have the latest "official" firmware. But Tom Chalco has modified this to give the extra features.
