GT31 - Distance View?

Is it possible to set the GT31 up to show distance in the large characters? I have trouble seeing the small numbers in trip meter without my specs while on the water.

I don't think so, at least I can't think of any way to do it without a firmware rewrite.

I thought you could but don't have a 31 to check any more !

set screen to distance (not speed genie)
lock screen !

sorry if i'm wrong, as i said can't check, it's just a memory !

I just checked, and distance (trip meter) remains in small font, no matter if screen is locked or not.

Woops !!
sorry if i mislead...

I picked up a pair of sunglasses with a Bio Focal Reader
works for my blind old eyes, or at least helps..
