Hi all, Izaak posted the other day asking if anyone new how to fix a GT 31 that kept freezing. I had the advice to unplug the battery and to start with this worked but the problems have persisted and it has kept on freezing and i have to keep unpluging the battery. Does anyone have any advice on what to do. Who should i contact what should i do ...

Any advice would be greately appriciated as i have just had the 2 greatest speed sails of my life and the gps hasent worked.

The firmware that comes with the unit is unreliable. I was getting GT31 freezes consistently on one GT31 I had last year (every time I turned it on it would freeze within minutes). As soon as I updated the firmware probs were gone.

Same thing happen to me,had one of the best speed sessions ever and the gt31 froze i was a bit pissed off but i had such a great time it didn't bother me at the end of the day...now i use 2 gt31s

I unplugged the battery like you did and it played up the next time i used it,it didn't freeze but never recorded anything so i reformatted the card and it's been fine ever since
