Anyway to get the data to KA 72? I'm not sure if the card reader is the problem or not. My computer guy reckons everything is ok but neither GPS shows up.
I go to KA72 and go to upload and it locks up. I can't find it on my computer...

card readers don't last very long. Try cleaning the contacts and if that doesn't work buy another one

Assuming you are having problems with GT-31:
0 - Reboot your pc and try again

1 - Check usb port on your computer : try plugging in something else like a mouse or printer and see if it works

2 - Check memory card : try reading a different card from your card reader, if that one works you can clean up your gps memory card contacts (the shiny metal ones) with a rubber eraser and try again, if after cleaning the card still does not work it means your card is gone and you need to recover the session from the GT-31 Navi-Link menu

3 - You plug the gps in and Navi Link does not start, maybe you need to reinstall it or reinstall the gt-31 drivers, sometimes it is also a matter of changing usb cables or ports. If you cannot make it work try giving the unit to a friend with a working system, I think James from your team is the expert. Maybe he can try to read your card too.

Bought a new card reader.. I thought that was it even though the computer guy who sussed out the computer remotely said it was ok. I found out you can't get any updates for GT31's anymore..
