Posting on this website it's not unusual that the wind report gets updated by the site itself.
In a certain sense, in my opinion, this is misleading.
As I see it, this kind of sites are justified by the pleasure of comparing (albeit in very different spots) with other enthusiasts. By scrolling through the individual sessions you can try (as far as possible) some analysis and comparison.
Knowing THE TRUTH about the wind conditions (and, possibly, the water surface) would make the consultations much more interesting.
Even posting scores of 26 kts can be a source of pride when performed with 10-12 kts of wind or it can be normal if instead there were 20 kts in the water...
In order to offer users this kind of opportunity, the site/s should devise a way so that each session can be relativized as best as possible
