Interesting. But it has the same result and Bjorn, Robby and Anders found in the Canaries. The larger waves and underlying swell go under it, perfect for surfers, but pretty useless for windsurfing/speed sailing as there is still no 'flat' water.

That guy seems to have lots of ideas but few actual results. Biggest accomplishment to date driving fishing trawlers in a river and filming 1/2 foot waves created off the wake.

i don't think that's anything special, surfers have known for years that thick bull kelp does the same thing naturally in Tasmania and California.

Not for long ..
Bull kelp forests are dying in Tasmania due to increase in water temp.
