Hello,

Never had a problem with downloading from gt-11. Today no data is showing and when trying to send from data logger it is displaying "fail". I thought the memory card might be full but don't have a menu setting on my gt-11 to delete info from card. When turning on it displays "card found" but doesn't display "new file" as it usually does. It has also displayed "travel long - yes or no" a couple of times and i pressed yes and it says "cold start".

Does anyone have any feedback or ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,

Carl

You should be able to check the card from your computer and delete any old/unnecessary files.

A cold start means it's got to work out from scratch where you are in the world, this can take a while.
Usually answer "no" to that question unless you've gone over 500km from the last time you used it.

So do you normally use navilink and download direct from the unit, or do you download from the card, I'm not quite sure what's not working for you.

I download taking the memory card out of the gps unit and downloading in realspeed. I don't have a file from today's sailing and when trying to send the data from the data logger is coming up with "FAIL".

My next step would be to try downloading data logger to another card.

I think the latest navilink software will export the data logger to computer direct. (In fact I'm almost sure it will, it's the memory card that it won't access)
May be worth a try if you can't borrow another card.
