I've heard the idea before where people share couches around the world so they can travel for less expense. I'm suggesting the same thing but with a twist. I'm a avid windsurfer but also surfs occasionally. Live in Christchurch NZ. Work because I have too, but work to windsurf. Lucky to finish at 2.30pm weekdays. Home is 5minutes from work, work is 2minutes to water. Windy in the afternoons during the season. What I'm suggesting is I could have a spare room to rent. Maybe a maximum charge of 10 dollars a day for power and buy your own food. Come windsurfing and have a cheap holiday in exchange for the same thing wherever you live. I have a van so I can carry plenty of gear. Maybe the Gpstc guys and girls can get to know each other and sail each others locations.
