Both fins need to be 50 degrees or more in rake if the tide is low as per forecast. The 27 will be too long for the inside weedy areas, but ok if you stay out wide. The 19 cm will be fine. If your fins aren't going to suit, pm me, and I will organise some fins for you to use instead :-)

Hey Stringer, Its the old adage "you shoulda been here yesterday". Yesterday had a 20cm to 30cm (Ave 25cm) storm surge on top of tide thats nearly a foot of water, , today is about 10 to 12 cm on top of tide, and as the high pressure system moves over there will be a zero to minus storm surge, so its gonna be very different. I'd say no way will you get in the flats with a 27cm fin. My advice to anyone coming down is to moderate your expectations. I used a 22cm 48degree rake fin yesterday, and felt a lot of drag probably robbed myself of at least 0.5 to 1 knot.

Storm surge is down to 8cm at 9pm, so if you arrive tomo around midday and see a Bowling Green do not blame Fangy, he makes brilliant fins, he's not DOG!!!!!!
