Nice looking sail, shame about the price (A$2400)

It seems Italy is really bringing out some nice sails, Point 7 are also from there. I saw the pics of Anders in Windsurf the other day and checked out the Challenger website too. The 3D are the top spec custom line. Sweeeet looking units

The "3d" sail - is it a moulded sail like the North keel boat sails?

It's actually designed by 3 Dudes hence you get the 3D name

o like the look of them, was intrigued by this comment on the website.

"FLUIDO 2009" The 8.3 continues to reap success, the only 7 batten freeride sail over 8sqm that has a 460 standard mast. FLUIDO also benefits from all 2009 material and finishing updates

hmm, must not have heard of the Koyote?

Maybe they just meant 'in our range'? Or perhaps KA haven't made it as far as Italy yet?

I own a Challenger 'Morpho' 6.4 which I bought really cheaply ($25) second hand. Particularly attractive because it rigs on a 430. (I don't own anything bigger..)

It is a crazy looking sail, with battens which curve in two dimensions rather than the usual one. I figured $25 was cheap enough to try it, and I have to say that I'm well impressed. My brother has a 6.2m NP Saber which he loves, but after trying the Challenger, he reckoned it felt even nicer still. The batten layout does mean that it rolls up really long though, which seems to be the only negative so far.
