What a great weekend of catching up with the crew.
Friday,
The wind tempted it was hot so we chugged out on to smaller gear.
Huge thanks for Bender who made the call, "Watch Elmo stuff this gybe up"

Thanks mate, I needed that nice long swim just to amuse you smart buggers on shore.
Saturday
Bit more wind but still Big gear teritory7+ and 100+ boards
Thanks to
Bender again for loaning me his &.4 which allowed me to redeam myself by chugging out and back twice without having to swim.
An even bigger thanks to
Tim S from the SRM who loaned me his Hypersonic and large Severene sail. Even though the board sailing style absolutely got the better of me It provided one of the most priceless moments of the day.
Managed only 2 runs on it planing, whilst I had been doing this young Bender had been zipping past me.
On the shore Ben says he's going to pack up I ask what he's done expecting him to have murdered us out there much to my surprise I've finished up 1/2 a knot faster which I very diplomatically and subtly stuck the slipper in. To which Bender in true spirit of the GPS team challange responded "Fark that" threw the board back on the water, sailed it out the back and came charging in on a mission.
Upon finishing his run checked the GPS and started pumping the air he had blitzed me by 3 knots with a 21knot peak

The teams spirit lives on!!!

Another Big thanks goes to
Chris A also of the SRM for the loan of his Tabou Manta, what a sweet setup only just got it onto plane but once there... Ssshhhhaaaawwwiiinnnngg! instant woody.
It was a great weekend, unfortunately for the first time up there the wind didn't really deliver but this didn't stop everyone working on their tans and hangovers.
see ya's at the next one
