A pretty average day for Budgy. Not the best direction as the wind wasn't really getting into the flats and the best was over by the time I took this video but it gives you an idea of what it is like. Considering the action is 500m away and I was hand holding the camera and buffeted by the wind the camera did a great job! You can change the quality to better by going to the spoked settings wheel. It's HD.

Hi Great Location, love the flat water sailing. I'm travelling to lake George SA in early February and on my return drive to Brissy I will pass your sailing spot Budgewoi. Any suggestion where to launch and what is the best wind direction if there is wind when i'm there.?

Not quite as flat now - some of the weed seems to have gone still pretty good though..
SW-W- NW -NE- ENE Peel st carpark past the coastguard rescue base.
Buff Pt for SSW - S -SSE .
Brandon Lane ( north side ) for SE - E although not great for bearaways as for flat water you are up into the lee a bit.
