Having an extended lunch break today... has there been more PB's in one weekend in GPSTC history??? I've only been involved in just under a year and i cant recall one.

Saturday - 41 PB's
SA Speed Demons x 15
Connewarre x 6
Tassie guys x 11
Moreton Bay x 1
Southerly Busters x 5
Barrum Heads MOB x 3

Sunday - 61 PB's
Southerly Busters x 24
Bonno Blasters x 7
Lake Mac x 2
Mandurah x 3
Moreton Bay x 6
Cockroaches x 3
Mid Nth Marauders x 4
ACT Gutbusters x 2
Wannabees x 2
Barrum Heads MOB x 8

Then if you count the few sessions that have been posted today already theres another 13 PB's from Moreton Bay MOB, Mandurah MOB & the Tassie guys again!!!

personally GPS sailing has added a whole new dimention to windsurfing for me.
Not only has it given me some benchmarks to improve against, it has connected me to a community of sailors who are happy to help me improve!
You really do get that team spirit going - thanks moreton bay mob!

If your not involved in GPS sailing yet id recomend giving it a crack -it really is a lot of good spirited fun

Yes it's great. It's not just people in your own team you get know either. I used to think the challenge was about PBs and performance but now I think it more about building community.

It's great to meet windsurfers when traveling or when they are traveling and to find out they are in the challenge like you.

I thought the pit crew were chained to Sandy? You mean you can sail at other places?[}:)]

This is totally true. You don't even have to be fast or have race gear to get these benefits. It has improved my sailing out of sight and I have still to get past 28 knots.
