Just had a glance at the forecast models for the NZ North Island tomorrow.
Are there any speed sailors still active there? This could be a big one!

I took the ferry from wellington to Picton about 20 years ago. I thought the wind was going to strip the paint off the boat. Wellington is intensely windy. It makes Perth look like Canberra. Auckland is very beautiful but wellington is hardcore. does anyone in wellington own bigger than a 5 metre?

Naa, they all seem to have slowed right down and gone supping, lost all their muscle tone by now.
The others went kiting so there are some fast kiters up there now.
