Finally finished it today, but during it's production it's grown, much closer to 43cm now.
I'm still playing with Keefs straps to get a good comfy fit, but this is very close.
I've twisted the front straps to conform to the shape of my feet, trouble is this tends to narrow the entry a bit, should have spaced the plugs a tad wider apart.

Just noticed in the pics, it looks like I have the front of the front straps in different holes, have to check that tomorrow.









All I need now is some wind to test it out.

Before pads and straps 5.2kg, after pads and straps 5.6kg.
I used 20kg foam, (wrongly delivered for the 65cm, they didn't want it back), and a double sandwich on the bottom in the impact area, so it's not super light, but I don't think that's a big issue with a high wind board.

5.6 is good i would rather an extra 1/2 kg and being solid rather than makeing it to light and it springs a leek, water is heavy stuff

Since Tuesday, went down yesterday arvo, nice 14 to 20knots here, by the time I got to Novara there was a big black cloud approaching. We decided to see what was going to happen before rigging. Went totally ballistic for about 10mins then stopped completely. Gave up and came home without getting anything out of the wagon.
