if he will post it, I don't know ;)

but now one could make 5 runs yesterday, storm was to heavy. (thats what I was told from friends and german windsurf news, because I wasn't there)
he finished 4, and the last 5th he "just come home", but still with 47 kmh , so 5x 10s wouldn't be high enough.

the board was an iSonic, and sail looks like a GunSails.

here is a short "interview" but in German

he said it was not fun, and the last (5th) run was more swimming but still 47kmh in avg.
and in such conditions, who need Luderritz :D

Wow! Amazing speeds!

I believe he is using Severn sails.

""as Ist der Hammer! "

Yeehaa!
Let's see what he's going to achieve in L?deritz this year. Looks promising to me!
He's going to compete together with Andy Laufer, and the two of them are really fast, especially Gunnar, who has just won the German Windsurf Cup (Slalom).

Looks like we need to sail in cold country to get great speed. Next record will come from Norway, sailing while the lake is completely frozen.
Anyway in Australia that speed on motorway should bring your ticket already, exceeding speed limits, by .18 km that is already great infringements.

thats what people are doing, mostly in the baltic countrys as they have a lot of frozen lakes in winter ;)

but I'm not sure if i wannan crash with 100 km/h on ice ....
or because the lakes are to small you can't break out of 100km/h fast enough before lakes end :D
