sending some wind your way Micheal... thanks for the comments everyone ,the wind picked up a bit more later in the day and the 110 felt big ,as it is rated best sails 7,0 -8,0 ,I was getting to tired to change sails
so I changed down to the 100 litre Exocet 34 fin and used the downhaul winch to pull the 7,0 Venom to Max setting, amazing what a 7,0 race sail can handle as winds where up to 26 knots in the end ,but I am probably 100 kgs with wetsuit now , we don't get the wind we use to back in the day ,but glad to get a good day in with the right tides .accidentally left work at 11am And was packing up at 3,30 pm ,Magnesium and 3 beers maybe more calmed me down ,and a good pub feed .what a day ,it was a good birthday present ,it really is the best present a windsurfer can have ,a day off with good wind and perfect tides ,

outhaul rope should be tucked in, you're loosing one knot !!!!

Done Lord Howe, Cocos, (all awesome) then saw your vid and showed the wifey...we are coming! What's the best time of year to visit to sail but also let the non sailors in the tribe do the island thing? Can you rent gear there or need to BYO? Nice vid BTW. You look like me but bigger calf muscles.

BYO ,the speed strip doesn't happen much ,we need a SSW and low tide or half ,its getting harder and harder to pick what time is best ,but usually july ,August -september ,has more percentages of this direction ,there are many rocks to sail around ,much to do for non sailers ,Lord Howe has bigger lagoons than us ,and yes I'm getting to big ,97kgs ,
