Why not this year? I sailed in the Gorge about 13 years ago and it was great. Beautiful August weather with strong winds and warm water. There were many friendly people there so I am sure you can meet people by the river edge.

Seabreeze is an Australian based site and most members are Australian so its unlikely you will get any acceptances to you invitation here. However with the American dollar going south at a rate of knots its probably not a bad time for Aussies to go to the USA. The shopping and food there is fantastic.
