judging by the amount of rubber the guys are wearing it wouldnt be in banana land would it?

it was taken at wello today in brissy, i wussed out cause it was frickin freezin, turned up in shorts and thongs and almost got hyperthermia getting out of the car.

kinda regret not sailing now.

that sail caught my eye cause i don't recognise it. it looks like a north sail made from ezzy material.

Funny how the guy in the background of that last shot is wearing boardies :D

The top (shaping) of the sail reminds me of last years North sails?

Check out the colour of the water - the visibility is shocking. Is that in an estuary?

bullsharks, tiger sharks, turtles frequent the spot.

it's a bay but is fairly shallow so when the wind pumps it turns chocolate brown.

who rides an evo in an estuary? !! - thats abuse of a very high performance drivey wave board - not much point dragging that turny rockerline through short chop.. that board would be much happier punting out of a nice thick lip on the coast somewhere

bit like riding a slalom board good in surf -

seemed to be plenty of point in the photos, the board is airbourne, sideways, and backwards. looks like the rider was having a blast.

also not to many wave spots work up this way in a westerly.

I thought visibility was excellent - i.e. you can make out the shape of chop perfectly, mud works like this in the surf too. A "half-full" way of looking at it.

Gestalt,
Sail made by Andrew Fee from Yeppoon for his mate. You can contact him on 0413565430. Sail was a 4.7m2. He can make to any specification (no-cams).
Can sail too!

looks like a good job!

but if i were a custom sailmaker i would make sails out of the thinnest gossemar available in the world, not the heaviest.

my two bobs.
